The Regional Shoreline Adaptation Plan has been Adopted!

We’re thrilled to share that BCDC voted to adopt the RSAP Bay Plan Amendment on December 5, 2024! This pivotal milestone in BCDC’s history will help pave the way for how cities and practitioners can coordinate efforts and take action for a more resilient shoreline.

Now, local jurisdictions within BCDC’s shoreline will have until January 2034 to complete Subregional Plans according to the Guidelines in the RSAP. Visit the RSAP about page to learn more.
